Mexico: HOUSE LOVE

Oh man did we love the house we stayed in in Mexico. Thanks eternally to Cassie, Holly, Sarah, Josh, Kelly, and Gavin for inviting us on this fabulous retreat!

Of course I want to walk you through the whole house and explain how it fits together and how magnificent and perfect it is, but I won't. I'll just show you the pictures.

This is all hidden behind high walls in the town center. Amazing. From the outside, you can't guess what's within. I kept wishing I could fly so I could skim over the rooftops and peek into all the courtyards and rooftop gardens.

Did I mention there was a view? *stagger faint*

That cute tile-roofed lantery dome above? This is it from below, as it lets light into the dining room:

Below, check out the mini terrace on to of the pool house. Beyond adorable. There was even an outdoor shower up there.

Oh man. The perfection. It was really really hard to leave, especially considering the amazing company!

It looks like the most beautiful house ever! And just so you know, I would definitely read a blog post in which you walked me through the whole house explaining how it fits together and how magnificent and perfect it is. :)

Wow! How beautiful!!!

I can't wait to read "Dreams of Gods & Monsters". Listening to "Days of Blood & Starlight" on my way to and from work - it's the best part of my day! Thank you for creating such a wonderful world, and sharing it with us!

What a beautiful house! Is that Guanajuato? I was there as a college student and I think I remember that pink cathedral.
