Home for a few days!

Well, I'm home for a few days before going out on tour again, and it's just in time to deal with this terrible head cold, ugh! Have swapped coffee for tea and Theraflu, and had the terrible experience this morning of having to see my face on a live video-chat preview screen. Hello face, goodbye face. Go back to bed, face. Ha!

It was a test for the LIVE AT THE LOUNGE live video chat tomorrow at 8 pm E. Hope you will come and join in and ask me questions! If my tour isn't bringing me near your town, come here and say hi! There will be the opportunity to ask your questions live onscreen, if you want to, and if your computer has a camera and all that. Or you can just type them in, that's fine too. But please ask questions!

Sign up! Join in! Come a little before 8 pm E/5 pm P tomorrow to get set up. All participants will be entered into a drawing for a signed copy of DAYS OF BLOOD & STARLIGHT, so there's that bonus too. Yay!

And while I'm here, a few more pictures from the last few days in Texas and Arizona. Thank you to the bookstores and schools that hosted me, it was a fantastic time! And thank you to Little, Brown, for making it happen :-)

Yow!

Some kids from the book club at Hastings High School in Houston; great group!!
this student asked me to sign her chip bag :-)

I love it when a reader brings all my books in a nice stack to be signed!

It was so great meeting you at Changing Hands Bookstore. My husband came and he's not much of a reader, but afterward he asked me a million questions about Daughter of Smoke and Bone :)

YAY, it was so much fun meeting you and listening to the GREAT discussion at Blue Willow Bookshop!

I was surprised that I seemed to be the only one with more of your books than just the most recent series. SO glad I was able to get them all signed. :)

The guy in the Akiva outfit is too funny. What a great homage to your writing! :-)

Sorry to miss the chat since I'll be at the NBA Reading tomorrow. And to think I heard you read there a few years ago!

Feel better. Lots of rest and liquids!

Laini, when will you come to Mexico?
It would be nice to do one tour around the country, here there are many people that we would like to meet you!
Please come to Tijuana, B.C, Mexico!

Please come!!!!(:

AnaCryz: I would very much love to come to Mexico! It would be wonderful if you helped by contacting the publisher of your edition and encouraging them to bring me down on a tour. Tijuana might be easiest of all, because it is possible I could come there in combination with San Diego Comic-Con -- if I go to Comic-Con this year. It would be close by and maybe possible. Any other fans you know down there, encourage them also to petition the publisher. Thank you so much!

:-)

Laini That would be great!
If you support us and help us contact the publisher it would be easier!
Of course I would encourage all fans of your books here in Tijuana, truly would be an honor to have you here!
I hope they you really come, I will do everything to make the request to the editorials and if you really would like to come you, everything would be easier...

Laini I'm really excited for this!

Thank you for answering my question during the chat! I really love that even though I haven't been able to make it to a book reading or signing that I could listen to a virtual version. (and it is basically the same as a book signing right... since my signed copy of Days of Blood and Starlight from Powell's arrived in the mail today)
