Light breakfast this morning. Painted sticks? I don't know why, but I love them.

And these so-pretty "loves" from Dottie Angel:

I love the sticks- esp against the white. You could paint some really neat ones I bet. I could see them on the wall going up the stairs. I love Eye Candy Breakfast!

On our honeymoon to Greece we met a woman who paints beautiful scenes or designs on stones and gives them to all her friends. Everyone in the town had at least one of her works on their front porch, or in a prominent place inside. She gave us two as keepsakes, and boy, do we treasure them. I know that sounds a little of out-of-nowhere, but that's where my mind went when I saw the painted sticks. :)

I think I can guess why you like those painted sticks, look at the happy-making colours! And they appeal to my geeky, geometric loving side too-- stripes and diamonds, oh my!

The painted sticks make me really happy, too - as does the rest of this post. Loving the eye candy!
