STRANGE THE DREAMER covers!!

Hello hello! I'm thrilled to show you the covers for STRANGE THE DREAMER!!!!

The above is the US cover; below is the UK cover. I adore them both, and love how they look great together too. I've been deeply deeply buried in the world of this book, and I really look forward to talking more about it and getting back to writing here about writing and life once I've unburied myself a little bit. I miss it here! I'll be back soon!!

Would you like to read the prologue? You can find it HERE at Entertainment Weekly. Cheers!

Why is she blue? What does it mean? Why did she fall?

Oh, this isn't fair. It's only May, and September is forever away. No, this isn't fair at all. I KNEW I shouldn't read the prologue. If someone is reading this, do yourself a favor and don't read the prologue. It's just cruel to tease us like that. :-( And what's with the moths? See? Nothing but questions.

I'm ignoring this. Yes. I'm going to read other things and forget all about the sad blue girl. Absolutely. I'm just going to go take one more quick look at that prologue and forget all about it. Just watch, you'll see. I'm forgetting about it already.

Sincerely,

Fitz (doesn't even remember why he's here, see? It's working!)

I can't wait to read this book! I just wrote a blog post about Davina Porter and how amazing she is as a narrator. I was first introduced to her voice while listening to Blackbringr and Silksinger. I wanted to share my post with you here, because, of course, I mentioned your amazing work there as well. :) I hope you are able to write the third book in the Dreamdark series when the dust settles. It is one of my favorites along with your Daughter of Smoke and Bone series as well. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep reading!

Hope you enjoy the post!

Hi Laini! Can't wait to read your new story! I loved the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy and I'm sure this one will blow my mind as well :) I'm a YA author too (http://www.johannavalkama.com/), but my book is only available in Finnish for now. I hope it will get translated one day, but I can tell that you are one of the authors inspiring me :) Greetings from the North! Johanna

I was just checking on the book on Amazon and it showing a release date of next year 2017! I can't seem to find if that is correct. I've been counting down the days until the release in September so I'm so hoping that's not true. Tell me it isn't so
