  1. I wish I could make it down to your Austin one, that would be so cool. I don't think I'll be able to but I will definitely be getting your next book. I love this series. It just reads so beautifully, like really good poetry. Cannot wait for Dreams of Gods & Monsters :D

  3. Please please please come to New Zealand. I would be so happy if you came to NZ. DOSAB is quite honestly my favourite series at the moment, and most of my friends love it too. Please.

  4. YES!!! I am able to go to the one at USC! I was worried because on that Monday I am going to Catalina on a field trip and if it was during that week I literally would have started crying.... By the way, what does time TK mean? I can't wait to meet you again at the tour (the first was the DoBaS tour in Glendale, I had Zuzana's shirt) and I am literally shaking from excitement. I love your writing so much and cannot wait for Dreams!!! <3

  5. PLEASE COME TO NZ!!!!!! I love your language and stories so much that my own writing is now more raw and rabid and dreamy. I will be quite over Eretz with thrill if you just fly over in a quick 12 hours.

  6. I am loving the ratio of comments coming from li'l ol NZ. That probably has something to do with the fact that you have more fervent fans in our little isles per capita than anywhere else...I'm sure of it. Yes, number me among them, fervent 'n' all.

  13. Your Austin visit is in my calendar! Yay! Can't wait to see you in person. And even though I'm not living in New Zealand any more, can I second (third, fourth?) the exhortations to go there? It's such a gorgeous place and I know you have so many fans there. Plus it's a gorgeous place.

  22. Laini, we would so love to have you come up to Seattle. It's so close to the Portland area and you have plenty of fans here. I know that my entire writing group and I would be there with bells on (and if you need that to be literal, we can make that happen). ;)

    Please consider it!

  23. COME TO BORNEO!!!

I know from your Pinterest it's one of the places you want to go to! I would gladly volunteer to show you around :)

As for NZ, I lived there for a while too and have to agree with what others have said about the country: IT IS BREATHTAKING. One of my favourite places was the Waitomo Caves approximately 2 hours away from Auckland. The boat ride lit only by the light of glowworms is one of the most magical things I've ever experienced.

And virtually EVERYTHING in the South Island is straight out of a fairytale.
