Greek Daughter of Smoke and Bone!

Look! Another edition of Daughter came today! GREEK! Cool graphic cover art.

(Can anyone tell me what the title says?
Something + Something.
Is it Angels and Devils or something?)

This is so cool. I love foreign editions, and different alphabets are best of all.
Check it out:

In hearts, of course, Akiva and Karou :-)

That is awesome. I love the simplicity of this cover, very striking. And the alphabet is beautiful.

Sorry, Laini, I don't know what it means, but it is a beautiful cover! Different from your other foreign editions but no less intriguing...

Oh, I love how the Greek text looks, and the cover is so cool. The sensation of seeing your book published in different languages, and seeing their versions... you are so lucky!

Too cool~

Direct translation:

angeloi + daimonas

English: angel + demon

Daimon or Daemon is/was the ancient greek term for, really, anything not god but still not of this earth - Sirens, Nymphs, Gorgons, Chimeras, Moira, Furies/Erinyes, Muses, etc. were all Daimon/Daemon.

In modern Greek, demon signifies a malignant spirit.

PS Laini, I enjoy your blog and your books. This is the first I comment on the blog. Being Greek, I thought I ought to :)
